The lane that the cottage is on is a beautiful walk from the main road, and inside everything is so cosy, relaxed and perfectly set out. The beautiful cottage was cozy and well-equipped and the large garden was ideal for our dogs, who absolutely loved the space to roam freely.

One of the biggest highlights was the endless walking opportunities. Whether straight from the cottage or exploring nearby villages, there was no shortage of scenic routes to enjoy. And the beaches, all within a short drive, were simply stunning — some of the best we’ve visited in the UK.

Eliza was a fantastic host—friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, and if you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque getaway, this is the perfect spot.

Overall peaceful and wonderful

  A fabulous two week stay with the family. The cottage is beautiful and accurately described. The photos of the views really do not do it justice (especially on a fair... read more day). It has all the every day amenities that make it feel very homely and liveable for a longer stay. The track is long and narrow as described, but we travelled it multiple times a day for two weeks without an issue (although it should be a consideration for less confident drivers). The location is lovely if you are looking for something really rural to unplug, although the WiFi is excellent considering its location. It’s a 20-30 minute drive to Aberdaron or Abersoch which were both very child and dog friendly. The beaches are up there with some of the best in the UK. Eliza was a dream to communicate with and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. I had complete confidence that if we did encounter an issue during our stay, that Eliza would have endeavoured to sort it out quickly. A lovely holiday!

Cooking was a pleasure in the well laid-out kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size, beds were comfortable and such fabulous views from the windows. Wake up early and watch the sun rise over the distant mountains! Everyone loved the bathroom too. Eliza kept in touch throughout to make sure we had arrived safely and had everything we needed. We had a lovely family get-together and all agreed that we had made a great choice! Many thanks to Eliza and Mel for making it so memorable.

  Great scenery and views, however no sufficient heating in the cottage. We had to check out after our first night as the cold in the cottage was unbearable. We did... read more ask Eliza first before contacting Airbnb and said we were happy to pay for the first night and cleaning fee but she offered no resolution and said she would only refund 100 quid. Unfortunately we had to contact Airbnb who refunded us and gave us a voucher to book another place. Shame as this caused a very uncomfortable first night of our holiday! Luckily we managed to find somewhere else with the help and intervention from Airbnb.
